Belting The Soundtrack Of Soulful Americana
Chuck grew up on a farm in Southern New Jersey. Farming taught him the value of hard work and taking pride in what you do. Chuck developed an appreciation for music at a very young age. With the influence of his parents and grandparents, he was exposed to old-school country, big bands, and classic rock.
As child, he was influenced by MTV and his favorite band was Nirvana. MTV Uplugged empowered his music appreciation and Nirvana Unplugged is still his favorite album. He fondly remembers 1993 at his first concert with his Dad—Aerosmith and the 4 Non-Blonds. At the young age of 11, being at the old Spectrum watching, listening, and learning from Steven Tyler and Linda Perry. Chuck’s love of music continued into the church and he discovered gospel music. In college, Chuck continued honing his skills. He took voice lessons, participated in choir, and occasionally volunteered for the college radio station. He learned about audio engineering, microphones, and vocal performances. He shared his gifts and talents at churches and live performances. Chuck was also a student at the Songwriting Intensive at the Gaither Studios put on by Bill and Gloria Gaither. Chuck continues to expand his musical talents with his guitar, bass, vocal, mandolin, and drums skills. In 2017, Chuck built a professional level music studio in his home. He is able to record, mix, and master in his own studio allowing the freedom to write and record music at all hours of the days. Chuck has over a decade of front of house live audio engineering experience. He wants people to enjoy his music. Music has the power to make someone laugh, feel understood, and get energized as he felt going to his first concert with his Dad.
